In the final session of the online series, Chris will be presenting on behalf of the team at Moree East Public School who are part of an ATSIMA professional learning project funded by the NSW Education Department across Connected Community Schools. The presentation will give a brief introduction to the Goompi Model and outline how the model shaped the professional learning program using place value as an example. Chris will then explore how the team at Moree East Public School brought these ideas into the classroom which culminated into students creating their own representations of place value.
