At ConASTA 73, Dr Caty Morris joined Dr Rebecca Vivian to deliver a workshop on the updated Get into STEM: Diversity in STEM Toolkit. Together, they explored practical strategies for creating inclusive, culturally responsive science learning environments and embedding First Nations Australian scientific knowledges through the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures cross-curriculum priority.
Dr Caty Morris also presented “Where’s the Mankarr”, exploring the connections between Science, Mathematics and Caring for Country through the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures cross-curriculum priority.
