ATSIMA Photography Usage Guidelines

To ensure images are used respectfully, appropriately and consistently, please follow the guidelines below.

1. Respectful and Appropriate Use

• All ATSIMA photographs must be used respectfully and in a manner that reflects their original context and purpose.
• Photographs must not be altered, distorted, manipulated or edited in ways that change their original meaning or context.

2. Photography Credit

When using ATSIMA photographs, the appropriate photography credit must be included ATSIMA

• Wherever possible, photo credits should appear alongside or directly beneath the image.
• If placing a credit beside the image is not practical, it should be included in an appropriate credits or acknowledgements section.
• Photography credits must remain clear and visible across digital and printed materials.

3. Image Editing and Modifications

• Minor adjustments, such as resizing or cropping for layout purposes, are permitted provided they do not change the meaning or context of the photograph.
• Images must not be heavily filtered, manipulated or altered in ways that misrepresent the original content.
• ATSIMA photographs must not be used to create misleading promotional materials or representations.

4. Approved High-Resolution Photography

Approved high-resolution ATSIMA photographs are available for use in authorised communications, publications, presentations and promotional materials.

To maintain image quality and consistency:

• Use approved high-resolution images wherever possible.
• Avoid stretching, distorting or using low-quality versions of photographs.
• Only download and use photographs from the approved ATSIMA photography collection.
• Do not distribute high-resolution photographs to unauthorised third parties without prior approval.

5. Permissions and Sharing

• Photographs should only be used for approved purposes that align with ATSIMA’s values, activities and communications.
• ATSIMA reserves the right to request the removal or correction of photographs used inappropriately.
