ATSIMA’s mission is to work with schools communities and systems to firstly improve maths outcomes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learners and secondly, provide culturally responsive maths education to all students.
We are providing some exciting Professional Learning Programs in Goompi Maths and the latest content in the maths curriculum that incorporates 90+ interconnected content elaborations in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures. These programs are based on the work we have been doing in schools around Australia from very remote to urban school communities.
